Hii I am from India and I am a full stack developer and freelancer we need to host project on vps or another cloud service so the most of website which provide beeter service like Digital Ocean and Google cloud and linode and vultr all are accept only Visa or MasterCard credit card and debit card but no-one accept Indian Rupay Debit card or UPI (unified payment interface) method or Net banking method. So my request to Please if possible include this method .

Bitcoin is a Peer to Peer digital currency with worldwide implications. Its value is changing rapidly just like oil did during its early days of adoption. That aside, it is a new technology and is beginning to be widely used. One of the largest internet company's in China started accepting them, WordPress accepts them and many more are starting to accept them every day. I don't want to see Digital Ocean lose out on this technology. I suggest you take a good hard look in the adoption of this new payment system.

i would like to be able to transfer a droplet as is (completely with IP address and RUNNING) from an account to another. this has nothing to do with droplet properties and it should be a simple change in database (for droplet_id change owner_id from user_X to user_Y or something like this). from the interface point of view, it can be handled in a similar way with snapshot transfer, with one user offering and another user accepting the transfer this is useful for billing purposes.

Now that projects are available, can we have the option to be billed to a separate credit card if we want? That way I don't have to have multiple Digital Ocean accounts.

My debit card fails every month & then i have to redo the payment every month. I don't know how large your indian userbase is, but doesn't it make sense from your product standpoint to make payment so seamless that user forgets that he even has a subscription ?? Thanks

When I first opened my account in Digital Ocean I need to verify my Credit or Debit card as that is the only suitable option for me and for that suffered for 3 months to get a VISA or MasterCard debit or credit card as many banks are not providing Credit or Debit cards from VISA or MasterCard after requesting to a bank very much I got a VISA Debit card, then only I was able to open my account in Digital Ocean and started using it then some my friends were looking for a Cloud service provider and I suggested them Digital Ocean. They actually liked it but were unable to start using it because they also don't have the VISA or MasterCard debit or credit card all they have was a Rupay debit card so they shifted to AWS as it supports Rupay cards also. The problem here not stopped here the first issue I faced when I was billed for the first time at that time I had to pay $4.00 but when I tried to pay that my payment got cancelled I talked with Digital Ocean support they told the problem is not from their end so I talked to my bank they also were unable to find any issues so I tried adding the same debit card as a secondary payment method. and after adding the card immediately the verification fee of INR 419 was deducted and after that I was able to pay my bill but in the next month same issue I faced I again added the same debit card as the secondary payment method the verification fee was deducted and then I paid the bill. If there is an option to pay through UPI then no one would have faced these problems. So it is a humble request to Digital Ocean team provide support of UPI payments at least for Indian customers.

It will be better to mention CPU's base and boost clock speed at every location where product's CPUs are mentioned. Like on pricing page and at the order page. That will be easy to select a plan for perticular application. Currently, we have to dig much into ur KBs to understand base and boost freq. And that's too not at a place, scattered here and there.

It would be really nice to be able to set a hard spending limit per project, so all the resources will go down\disabled as soon as threshold is passed. Yes, this could be hard on payloads, but it's a really useful option to have, especially if you have several projects. Ability to add additional designate a list of emails who receive invoices without adding additional users.

At the moment DO doesn't have the option to freeze or pause an instance if the usage goes beyond a set monthly limit which causes an increased cost. I would love to have an option where I can set my monthly billing limit and as soon as my monthly bill hits that I receive a notification and the instance is paused immediately so I can approve if the use was by me legitimately or it was a malicious attack on my instance. It will help with keeping the billing cost in limits and protect against edge cases where malicious users decide to spam the API.
