Currently, you can pull actions for a single individual via the API - but for folks that are using this in a team capacity that have multiple team members - this is not useful for monitoring. Any organization (not individual) using DO will have a need to monitor access/actions taken within the team. Under the team security history - there is a GraphQL area that has these logs (albeit - VERY space on the details) - but Support suggests these are not accessible via the API (which would be needed to send logs to a SIEM for monitoring). There needs to be an API that covers all audit events for the team instance, all actions, all products, and includes details on access (username, IP, user agent, action taken, date, product affected, time, etc.) at the very least - and this needs to be accessible via an API that can be queried by a Collector OR these events should be able to be sent outbound via webhook to a SIEM solution.

PLEASE ALLOW US TO BUY DOMAINS ON DIGITAL OCEAN. That would solve so many issues. DO is a great platform, but the fact that we can't buy domains for our clients on here is hurting us because we have to use another platform for it.

We should have the possibility to also downgrade droplets, not just upgrade. Sometimes we need a lot of power for some operations, but then we don't for some time, or maybe not at all anymore, so it would be nice to be able to downgrade a droplet, not just to upgrade it. The current solution is to create a new one with a smaller plan, but this means configuring, installing and doing all that stuff which takes time and is not portable.

After typing out the idea, and clicking submit, the site tells me that I have to log in to some other infrastructure. What does this mean? I already have a DO account. Now I have to make a new one, and somehow an entity named Canny is involved. Should I use the same password? If I do, can someone at Canny now log in to my DO account? Or is this just some sort on prem stuff that is managed by DO? I assume it's an external provider, so I use a different password. What are the TOS of Canny, though? What happens to my email? Also, now my browser needs to manage two accounts with the same email for the same domain digitalocean.com , but with two different passwords. There's a link "Terms of Service" at the bottom, but I couldn't find any mention of Canny there. What do I actually agree to by making a Canny account. I consider it downright evil to spring this on me after I type out the feedback. Be upfront about requiring another account. Alternatively, let me use the DO account for feedback. Make it clear what TOS I actually agree to.

It would be amazing to have Alpine Linux images that work well with DigitalOcean VMs, with support for IPv6 and Monitoring properly. The last feedback post on this topic was opened in 2018. Today Alpine Linux has become quite mature and stable, and is a great OS to deploy.

Following my ticket to support: It looks like the CSV is not fully reflective of the actual PDF invoice breakdown. I was looking for CSV/excel file to include a summary with the count of droplets by droplet type, as well as the unit or total cost of the droplets by droplet type. That is really a surprise because the PDF actually give us line items with Droplet type, service, hours used and cost. That should be able to be delivered in a CSV also instead of PDF.. as the data clearly exists

Please add support for logging in with passkeys (webauthn). This is far more secure and easier than using username/password and 2FA. Thanks!

You have a partial integration with Google Workspace at the moment with SSO. It would be great, if you could extend it. one way would be to support to send notifications/alerts to Google Chat via webhooks. This is actually rather easy to implement and could be a simple quick-win. So please consider checking it out.
