I appreciate (from a Canadian: no higher honour is bestowed) your candid response: To answer your question: no, the custom role fields can't accept SIS,ET, W?SÁNE?, or SEN?O?EN with their proper characters right now. This is a current limitation, not something on your end. P.s.: Whilst I am "signing up" for a Canny account, why can I not submit an idea as a paying Digital Ocean customer using my login (as Grandmother says, "I don't work for you, so why do I need yet another social media account".)?

Firewall entries are currently just a list of IPs. There's no way to tell what's what. I would really appreciate if we could add a short description to each entry (like in AWS security group rules).

Change the font style to something that is calmer on the eyes. The new one is too thin and it strains my eyes. I don't wear spec but I feel I might have to for reading this. I use a Dell u3425we and the previous one was pretty good.

If you have TOTP (authenticator) MFA enabled with SMS as a backup method, you should be able to disable the SMS backup easily, WITHOUT resetting your TOTP key. The need to re-register with all your authenticators is a strong disincentive to disabling SMS, and SMS as a backup these days is a vulnerability. You need to encourage people to remove this vulnerability, not actively discourage them by making it hard.

It would be decent if providers such as JumpCloud could be used to log in and manage organisation users in teams. Digital Ocean is a decent product which changed whole industry and it's now a part of enterprise world, so using identity mgmnt and SSO services like JumpCloud is vital.

Add support for Azure AD SSO SCIM user provisioning would be a great addition also.

I had a server running on a hypervisor that needed emergency maintenance. I had no way to know this was happening, so I was desperately trying for two hours, to get my droplet back online with REBOOT and POWEROFF requests. I would have had a lot less stress and panic if Engineering had some mechanism that let's admins know when a hypervisor goes down/is being emergency serviced. Like, in the Droplet panel, a red flag "EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE" would have (1) not made me think I tripped the server up (I was using it when it was disappeared), (2) Prevented a ticket (or I assume a flood of tickets), (3) Stopped me from trying multiple REBOOT and POWEROFFs which would make stabilizing the server more difficult for engineering during the crisis (I run my own in-house server room, I understand that side of the business on a smaller scale). Seems very doable given you know who has what, eh? And obviuosly the Droplet UI is not tied DIRECTLY to the hypervisor box.
